A cozy cafe with a noble thought behind it. I visited with my parents and tried Bhetki Fish nChips. Quality and quantity was good. Do support the cause and help them to grow.

Nothing better than to combine a wonderful time eating out with being consciously and joyfully inclusive members of society. Lovely staff who happen to be HIV positive but who make us forget it with their cheerful demeanour and professional manner, always ready to assist. Earning with dignity, with warmth, with dedication. The signboard says "We love positive minds" and "Let's brew love". This place is very clean, bright and easily accessible, right on Lake View Road with a relaxing ambience sans loud music or too many people, hence conducive to conversation. Affordable and delicious menu items which offer something for everyone, beautifully presented. Absolutely worth repeat visits! When taking photos please be respectful of the staff. For privacy, taking photos of their faces is not allowed. Nothing stops us from telling them though how brave they are and how nice their service is.

Cafe positive is positively one of the most pocket friendly cafes in town at present which serves huge quantity food with such quality maintained at such a price. It's definitely a must visit.

One of the great cafes at Southern Avenue. From Deshapriya Park crossing you have to walk around 6-7 mins to get there. Their minimalistic approach is great. The cause behind this cafe is huge and really appreciable. All the staff here are HIV+ ones, that's why the name is 'Positive'. The service is a bit slow but I never mind about that at all, after knowing the back story. The food is very tasty. And the beverages served in a huge amount! We ordered Fish and Chips and Grilled Chicken Steak, both the items turned out really well! In the beverages we took Blueberry Ginger Mojito & Icy Chilly Mango Mojito, which were great as well! In conclusion I would strongly recommend this cafe. Last but not the least, the thing needs to be mentioned is their pocket friendly menu, the pricing for all the items is surprisingly low!

Update: The new, improved and revamped Cafe Positive has moved to a better location near Southern Avenue. The food and beverages have becomer even better in taste. Definitely try out the sausage platter, cold coffee, chicken sandwich. The staff is also very cordial and professional. Wonderful little peaceful place in Southern Avenue which is quiet and a good place to work, chill or catch up without loud music or noise. Free wifi available as well! Price is quite reasonable considering the taste and is totally worth it. . . . . Hidden gem in Jodhpur Park. Nice, cozy place. Converted from a garage. Good, tasty food. I had the cold coffee which was quite good. Staff is also very pleasant and well-behaved. Founder Mr. Ghosh is also very helpful and courteous. Must visit if you are in this part of town.

Ambiance good, homely atmosphere. Staffs are well behaved. The main attraction is the cafe fully managed by HIV positive's which is first in Kolkata. Great initiative. Food is good. Price is lil high but great experience at all.

Been to Cafe Positive today... A wonderful cafe, beautiful ambiance, good and equally tasty food, pocket friendly and lastly would highly recommend to visit. Staffs very well mannered. No issues with parking, as there are ample parking space. Request you all again, to visit Cafe Positive and support the cause....

It's a great initiative that you get to see in the city...tucked away at a para gully beside a market.. it helps people to get rid of their prejudice against HIV positive people.. this awareness is important. The food was standard... Not amazing but not bad aswell.
